I’ve recovered from brain fog in the last few months, but I’m not sure if it was caused by covid or an allergy, maybe both. Anyways, the key for me was omega 3 fish oil (dha/epa). Obviously YMMV, but research suggests it’s involved with repairing the blood/brain barrier and is correlated with improving brain function. Dyor but it worked for me!
thanks, taking turmeric. will do my research
Yess I have and so have a lot of my friends! It sucks because you can’t even explain it. I hope it gets better :)
exactly. very hard to explain. and it’s really affecting my mood
Sounds like long COVID.

I guess we’ll see in the future
I doubt any of us are medical experts. Chat with a doctor. Feel better OP!

yo i died earlier this year with COVID
definitely took longer to load very foggy
I had it for about a month after testing positive. Took some anti-inflammatory supplements (turmeric, lions mane) and low histamine diet seemed to improve it.
im taking turmeric supplements everyday too thnx
It was 10 days of it for me when I had delta. Hard to think. Physical fatigue too, like if sleep 12-16 hours a day. But definitely feel you. It was a lot of mental effort to write an email. Omnicron I had no brain fog.
S&2 I had the same experience. I tested negative. But the symptoms were obviously CV. Even down to Covid tongue. I am Day 12 from first symptoms. Still hoarse and I have a constant itching sensation all over my body. The brain fog is improving.
I’m not gonna lie, I got Covid and all 3 shots and my health is deteriorating. I can barely finish a 45 min spin class. And foggy all the time :(
So as a person who had brain fog for years from my autoimmune disorder, I was finally after years able to resolve it, but had to figure it out on my own. The medical community does not help with this. I stopped eating wheat (too much pesticide for me I think and is very inflammatory) tried to keep things whole and organic. Talked to a nutritionist who helped with this needed more good fats in my diet. Can’t recommend a good nutritionist enough and mine was covered by insurance. The other big thing was that my ferritin which is the iron stores was low. Really should be like 70 the nutritionist told me. Most docs won’t test for this and if your iron store is below 50 your body stops certain enzyme processes to save your iron so you don’t go into full blown anemia. Very few docs know this but was told this by a rheumatologist and a sleep dr. So it is scientifically proven ( nutritionist indicated this as well ) Covid does something with your iron storage so you may have been left low and you want to test this because high iron is really bad. The other thing I take is Quercitin which is a natural antihistamine. I have a weird disorder with too much histamine in my body and this keeps it in check. It is also an antiviral so if you have some viral particle maybe clears that too. It comes from apples. Your body uses histamine in its attack against viruses. You could just have too much in your system for a while. No more brain fog!
What do you take for Iron?

It’s either covid or my CTE from playing football. Either way NCAA won’t pay to fix it lol

Yea, not sure whether to attribute it to old age, Covid, or the vaccine.
It’s not the vaccine 🤦🏾♂️
That’s me all the time. Covid or not. :)))
I got the brain fog. Let your team know. I was pretty out of it for 2 weeks post covid. Took me and my GF a month to get our taste / smell back. This was about a year ago so not sure how omicron impacts but something to keep in mind.
I did. Still do 6 months later. Helps to take more regular breaks away from your computer. Still sucks though

I had three weeks of brain fog after a bad flu a couple of years ago. I think it can happen after any significant illness.
Got brain fog from the booster (or maybe had omicron too.) lasted at least 4 weeks (still kind a have it)
