I had an offer from McKinsey and don't have an MBA, so yes.

Why didn't you take it EY1?

I would have come in as an associate just like an MBA, it would be a big pay hit to where I am now. They start everyone at associate. I had hoped my experience working closely with them would bring me in at EM but it didn't go that way. Part of me still wanted to go, their process and company are so well run but I am gone way too much now and at McK, I'd end up divorced.

EY1 what practice are you in?

Similar situation as EY1, I also had an offer earlier this year, but would've been a step backwards from a career progression perspective.

Accenture 1- would u be willing to share how u got urself plugged-in to the interviewing process. good way to reach you?

Yes A1 throw us a burner.

I am sector focused. I work in PI technically but worked with them closely on 2 TAS projects. I worked directly on their team on the second. They suggested I apply so I did. Working FT the process took a long time to complete test, cases and interviews.

And as EY1 says above- whole process has taken me about 2 months so far including prep time.

Took me almost 6

Did cases in office near client site

Hm... I first reached out to friends early May now that I actually looked back at my emails... So actually about 3 months

A1 what experience level are you?

pre-MBA

Can anyone guide me with proper advice for the below questions about HCL.
1. How is HCL in general?

3. How is it in terms of job security?
4. Do they pay the variable components fully?
5. Do they give any shift allowance?

Thank you all in advance.

Do we allow employees to shift payment of bonus from December to January in SEA? Sone other systems/office allow it. If legally possible in the country, it costs nothing to the company and can save thousands in taxes to employees who are in certain situations (transferring to another country, leaving the company, …)

I need some help/advice...

I have 5+ years of experience in project management, finance, and strategy and I just graduated from a top 15 full-time MBA program. I'm pursuing a role in Product Management and am about to wrap up a 12-week internship with a software startup doing just that. Ideally, I'd like to move directly into a PM role in the software space, but I'm not getting much traction. Does anyone have any experience in starting in a more "junior PM" role and working their way up?

For my Strategy& fish - curious if anyone can chime in on what the Sr Manager role is like in the Tech Strategy practice/space. I understand Sr Mgr is a new role in the org (according to recruiter) and wanted to get a perspective on this.

For context, left Deloitte as a Mgr over half a year ago for a product strategy role in industry but am finding the grass isn’t always greener. Also, have had a convo w/ a recruiter recently and the comp package I was cited seemed pretty enticing.
