Has anyone at Deloitte Canada gotten approval to work remotely outside Canada for 4-5 weeks while on consulting projects?

Need help. I’m a fit guy (regularly lift, cardio etc) but I loooooveeeee junk food. Burger King, MickeyDs, KFC, you name it. I know I should stop eating it but every now and then I cave and eat the whole menu. Can anyone gimme some tips to help quit it?

Is it important to offer support staff that speak a foreign language or is it sufficient if the attorney can communicate with the client? We had one bilingual paralegal and another who is not. The bilingual one left us some time ago.

Thus, we are left with one who can’t communicate with about 25% of our clients. And there just isn’t enough revenue to support two paralegals despite my partner pushing us to hire.

Starting soon in Boston but the the WFH situation was still TBD when I interviewed. Are there any updates on when everyone would need to go back to office full time in the U.S.?

My joining date is coming closer, however education background checks are still processing ( international degrees) . My onboarding coordinator told me that I can still join even if education check is still in progress, provided there wont be any flags. I don’t see any issue with my degrees and have done same with my past companies.

I have an interview coming up with Deloitte for a Senior Associate - PMO role in Transaction services in Middle East. I have been told that process would include a case interview stage. I am aware of Consulting type cases but how are Transaction service cases different to consulting? What would I expect, an M&A type case?
