Has anyone been able to reschedule an exam/extend an NTS due to having covid? Have AUD scheduled on Monday, but started to experience strange, covid like symptoms today, not really sure how I should proceed...

Can you get a rapid test today? Call them ASAP. I’m not sure about this specific request but I’d hope they accommodate. May need a doctors note or something to substantiate.

If you want to reschedule you can email them and they’ll refund you

Thanks!

first time therapy question:

I’m signing forms now as a first time therapy-goer and it says that my therapist would *have* to make a diagnosis for insurance purposes. Does this mean they have to find something to say I have? Do they tell you and is it something that sticks with you?

I really just want to go to have a third party to talk to and gain more insight on myself. Just wanted to hear any opinions before signing. Thanks in advance 🙏

I have PCOS, so getting pregnant has not been straightforward. We are about 6 months into trying and I am on some drugs to help. My husband basically blames me for not being pregnant yet and routinely says I am a ‘mess’ for not understanding my cycle, even though I am going by what the doctors tell me. I haven’t been stressed by having PCOS, but his constant remarks are really getting to me

Hey Everyone!
I’m coming up on one year of working in consulting post under grad in a financial services vertical. I know I want to transition to corporate strategy down the road, but don’t have much interest in financial service strategy. Should I try and switch into a more applicable practice such as M&A or operations? Will I be able to break into corporate strategy without any past experience in that industry? I want to avoid getting pigeonholed into FS, but with COVID, don’t want to leave.

NYC Freelancers! My Medicaid is ending soon and I need to start making health insurance decisions (lame). My current agency is offering me FT and I’m pretty terrified as I feel like I’m going to sell away my freedom. Their health insurance is pretty good and allows me to put my partner on it. I’m trying to also rationalize paying for my own in NYC but it’s so expensive ($500+/mo). I go to the doctor fairly often. Single NYC freelancers (no kids), what do you pay monthly or yearly? Worth it?

One year ago this weekend my mother was dying of Covid 2000 miles away from me. On Mother's Day we were told to make a decision to either consent to an invasive surgery that may do nothing or put her on hospice. She died on her own while my siblings and I tried to decide. I need to crawl into a cave this weekend until this holiday passes.

Hey! I’m new here and would like some input. I’ve been working in a new position for almost 5 months. In that time I’ve witnessed some unethical and lots of unprofessional behavior. I’ve been yelled at and berated by my coworker 3 separate times because of minor errors. I’m ready to quit. There are so many major issues in this company that I don’t know if I want to subject my mental health to this degree of toxicity. I just don’t know how to move forward from here.

I have opened a new salary account with icici for gds but still have not been contacted by payroll team.
