Got laid off on April 1st with the premise that I would be someone they would bring back if they could with the story about how covid has hurt our business etc. Just found out that they got a PPP loan on April 15th and did not bring back any of the 6 people they laid off and the salaries of everyone else are still cut 20%. I do not want my job back now but I feel like they should not be able to get away with that.
Question for those good with independence: Are you able to work seasonally on weekends for a client the firm audits? If you are not part or ever been part of the engagement team?
