Has anyone been asked to travel yet for a client? Or show up in person in any way? Mostly curious about those serving “essential clients” in health care, grocery, etc.

If so - what did you do?

I work with DOD / Intel clients and have had to go into client site daily since this whole thing started. Had a few people on the project feel and uncomfortable and decided to stay home, and no one batted an eye.

Traveling starting this week for a company that makes CDC approved cleaning materials to scope their production line. Had to get a negative COVID test this weekend, masks, must spend 3 days quarantined in client city before I can go on site.

Will be bring wipes with me to wipe the hotel room, but otherwise business as usual. Actually excited to be back on the road honestly.

What company do you work for A1?

Dunno what goes on at Deloitte, but “show up in person any way” wouldn’t fly at EY

As in.. is anyone being asked to show up in person IN any way even if it doesn’t require travel. Visiting local stores etc.

I wish

Yeah a good chunk of the firm is traveling. About time

Getting job using fake experience and fake certificates is easier than getting job as a fresher or switching jobs with experience by serving notice period !

If companies do proper background verification or able to decrease notice period to 30days genienue candidates will get benefited.

In recent job selection on service based companies many new joiners are with fake experience but with good packages, In project managing them is too difficult too for sure as far as i know

Hey all - couple question for anyone working at PwC who has been successful in filing their green card under the EB1-C category. How long did you have to wait to get the process started and did you need to get any approvals? I am currently on an L-1A visa and was told by the immigration team that they wouldn’t start the process until I have been with the US firm for 12 months and typically they would start the process 3.5 years prior to the max visa date. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
