Is it worth it to go back to school for a better track to a FAANG company? The division I’m currently in seems like there are no good opportunities, and I have the funds available to finish my undergraduate full time (Canada). I applied to Amazon before for a highly senior position and made it to final interview so I think I would have a better chance for a new grad type role.
In this virtual time of interviewing, how is your interview space set up? Do you reference notes? If so, written down or on your laptop?
Did I mess up my first round? Recruiter set up team match call. I haven’t had any other interviews. I didn’t have much in the description so focused my initial interest on program management (that was the title of the interviewer). Turns out role is more strat and ops. I have experience in both (more strat) but interviewer said to think on where I want to focus as he has openings for both types of roles. I’m worried I messed up because I said I wanted to do program management…
Talked w recruiter yesterday, wanted to schedule a phone interview for today/ tomorrow; they’d shoot me an email this AM. Haven’t heard back. Want to follow up but don’t want to bug. Email or no?
Currently going through the interview process with a brand I love. I've interviewed with the CMO, completed a work task and presented it back to the team, and met with the CEO / founder. They've just come back to me saying that their creative agency has "offered to help with the process". This seems unusual especially given they're looking to bring all creative in house. First time I've ever heard of this happening - any theories as to why this is now a step in the process? Is it a red flag?
I'm in final stage interviews with two companies, both of which I like and have expressed interest in giving a final offer. Company 1 is moving pretty quickly, but company 2 has gone a bit quiet. How do I nudge company 2 so that I can compare and leverage offers?
I’ve been on a few interviews from recruiters and by far they are the worst opportunities that have come may way…. I think it’s better off to do myself.
What’s the toughest interview question you’ve gotten or asked and what answer did you give/were you looking for?

Hello. I’m working on H1B and recently got a promotion. My company is amending my H1B and told me that since my new job is remote I can only work at my apartment (since it’s my legal location). Is there any chance they can figure out I’m working remotely from somewhere else? Also, I’m also in the process of applying for green card (thru employment). Does anyone know the timeline for this given my H1B is getting amended ? (My country has no waiting time).

Do companies generally asks to provide a copy of a competing offer letter during salary negotiations?
I work full time in a (foreign) country where employees are protected pretty well. Our agency lost clients and they need to lay people off. I’m on that list too. They are convincing us to accept a voluntary resignation with 5 months of salary. I can refuse (law will protect me) and stay on but I have barely any billable work to do and of course this will create some toxic relationships with management. (CONT)
So many new hires coming in. I just don't get it, with all the layoffs that happened a few months back and a bench so deep..
Stuck in an IT Audit rut. Can anyone provide guidance on how to get out and what are some potential exit options.
Wondering about app status: I applied to a position at Deloitte in the marketing dept in early November of this year. My app status says it’s in review. Is it normal for it to take this long or is my app going to gather dust in the system?
