Never use negative words? They should’ve said always use positive words 😜

If there are strict guidelines then no one ever has to think too much or be too responsible for their decisions.

Seen this. Also seen "don't ask questions in copy, because they might answer no, or the opposite of what you want" And "never use 'we' in headlines, always make it about you" Making sweeping rules like this is always dumb.

Ha! Yes, just show it to them anyway.

I’ve ran into this with my past agency owner. I was baffled that they couldn’t see the opportunity behind the thought.

I have a few example to hand, but any iconic taglines or campaign lines out there that use “negative” words? Eg. Impossible is Nothing.

Ex-Accenture (doing internal PM analyst work, laid off due to COVID but great relationships there/eligible for rehire), have two offers - just started as market research analyst in the marketing team in pharma biz market access or a new offer as a PM at data SaaS. I want to get back into generalist management project-based consulting, maybe even at Accenture. What would be better?

Still NO PROMOTION Talent f/b to coach - 'Scatterplot cut off didn't meet, can do better next yr' MD called today - 'You are doing good work, want to reward you 1.5L bonus with 12 month retention policy' I said - 'I am 100% sure I would be returning it if I accept, hence I decline this' Wats his next step?

I have a family visit coming up next week that is looking likely to conflict with a major client deadline. I’ve canceled my fair share of vacations for this job, but after a year+ of pandemic isolation, loss and nonstop work, this one is a big deal — I need to be present for my family for just these couple of days. Any ideas for how to frame this to the client? In house lawyers, is there an acceptable way your outside counsel could handle this situation? I am feeling so sad and stressed.

Client has indicated on several occasions that he’d like me to join their team (not being specific about role or level). I would make the move in a heartbeat if it was a step up in responsibility, but I’m not interested in making a lateral move. What should I do to move this process forward without seeming over eager or potentially damaging the client-consultant relationship if the offer isn’t compelling?
