Transition from Compliance to Risk ? I work for major brokerage in compliance. I’ve been in this field almost 5 years. The person I work with made me absolutely hate my job and every day for past few months is soul destroying. He doesn’t share project work with me, he re writes my notes. I raised it with manager few times but not much happened. Never knew someone so difficult . Now risk wants to poach me to retain me in business.Am I crazy to even consider this ??

Welp that was the last GSB date, no dice 🤪
Took it before I knew I was going mba route. Had a good score so opted to not attempt the gmat. Worked out fine, got into M7
D1 do you mind sharing your score?
My score was 163 verbal (93rd) 169 quant (96th) 4.5 written (82nd). I was accepted into Sloan
Have been hearing a lot of success stories from people taking the GRE over GMAT and still getting M7
Definitely take GRE if you want to do dual degree and those programs accept GRE only. Schools don’t care
I took the GRE instead of the GMAT and did better percentile wise. Highly recommend it!
I took the GRE right after college and studying for the GMAT now. Got 164 on the Quant section but the verbal section (specifically vocab) killed me. I’m not good at memorization and new words just didn’t stick.
I’m doing GRE in hopes of doing an mba/mpp
Thank you so much! I’m definitely feel more confident taking the GRE now :)
Word of caution - don’t do a dual degree program. It no longer looks “prestigious” and loses its wow factor soon after besides 16 yr olds being impressed that you have so many grad degrees. It’s a waste of $ and won’t help your career. An MBA will be more than sufficient
