Has anyone detoxed by juicing and how long did you do it. I will like to juice for a week, and need tips on how to stay focused

First ask yourself what you are trying to gain by detoxing.

In all honesty, detox juice diets aren’t effective for much, so it really depends on what you’re trying to accomplish. Btw, if your liver and kidneys function normally, you’re detoxing right now ;)

Please please don’t do a “juice detox”!!!

Your body is a self detoxing system. I repeat, your body is a self detoxing system. You just need to make sure you’re giving it the right fuel, exercise and sleep. That means removing all processed foods, make sure your nutrition is high in healthy fats, leafy greens, fruits, organic protein, and more greens.

These fad diets and detoxes wreak havoc on your body. Please research or talk to an actual dietician or an MD with a masters in holistic health. For the love of all things healthy, please do not put yourself through a “juice detox”.

You will get 100% of the benefits of juicing without any irritability/other BS by simply getting into a calorie deficit for a while. It sucks, but just track your calories and see how much better you feel when you’re in a deficit

During the last few months I’m down 20 lbs mainly from increased activity ...taking walks outdoors etc, eating a bit healthier and drinking more water. Self care for me is easier when at home. I’m looking to lean out some more and considering Keto. Has anyone done keto for ~ 2-4 weeks, lost some weight then managed to maintain after going back to carbs and balancing diet and exercise? I’m a 9th year in Big Law and have been struggling to get much work done the last 1.5 months. Mentioned this to my doctor at my recent visit, and she offered to increase my Vyvanse dosage, but I told her I wanted to see if it got better soon. I’m wondering now if it’s burnout. I am 34.5 and have been TTC for 1.5 years. Failed one cycle of timed intercourse and one natural cycle IUI. At this point, considering IVF- there were no major issues when got tested by RE. Had a microadenoma and have been on medication since. Husband’s count and motility came back normal but morphology was a bit low. RE said low morphology does not matter much. How long are people being positive with covid for?? I know some people that are symptom free for over 2-3 weeks but still coming back positive?? How is this possible?? Are they contagious? Most jobs suggest if your symptoms free for 10 days then you can go back to work...yet some of these people are still testing positive. Thoughts???

Okay, I have a new problem and need help. So thank you to all those who provided app recommendations to me in the past. Right now, I’m using my fitness pal to track food intake. I’ve significantly changed my diet the past 2 weeks. The amount of food I need to consume to hit the calorie intake is mind blowing. I’m doing intermittent fasting too. I feel very full trying to hit 1600 calories in 8 hours. It’s even more when working out according to the app. What do you recommend? Eat less?

Anyone have a sensitive stomach? Id love to hear some explanations from the crowd that aren’t a serious medical condition - just an above average sensitivity. I don’t think I have IBS, but I get really triggered by certain foods and they just run right through me. Some triggers I know (too much cream / fat, or conversely a large amount of raw vegetables) but other times it feels really random.

Here’s a dumb question 😬 I finally bought an under the desk treadmill (and am loving it!). I don’t like to wear my shoes inside the apartment so I’ve been using it barefoot but not sure if this is ideal?
