Has anyone done an interview for a position then found out through negotiation with HR that the said interview was for a position paying far less?

I have not but I am curious if they gave you a range? If not that is a red flag because most positions have a pay range and candidates are compensated based on their qualifications etc. Are you still considering taking the job? I would look up how to negotiate your salary and make sure you get the best pay possible. If not I would always ask an interviewer what the pay range is.

Sorry so long it was definitely an experience. And in the medical system as well. I am proud of myself. This was my first time negotiating. Felt good knowing I now know my worth. Definitely open to ideas to seal the deal.

No range, just the typical “ here is your hourly pay”. Here is the kicker I applied and interviewed for a supervisor position. The hourly pay was NOT a supervisor. The onboarding letter wasn’t the position i applied for neither. I asked if there was any confusion? Onboarding responded with “ the position you applied for is Closed” 🙆🏾‍♀️🫠 I went to my application profile on the company site screenshot replied. States the position I applied was well and Active. I proceeded to negotiate upon salary not hourly. Did the whole gratitude sandwich bit. She says she will call back. Calls back and says “ 😬😐 here’s the thing…apparently I’m the middle man. The person who interviewed is actually filling that position. But They will pull a position together around her duties. We really want you on the team they interview was phenomenal you have all the qualifications plus more but only have the non supervisor roll you never applied for available” I told them I couldn’t accept, it’s a pay cut. Went in for the last negotiable range. Didn’t budge bid it ado. She ends the call with “ I am so sorry we put a bad taste in your mouth. May we keep your info in case a job falls in line with your interests in mind?” 😑🙄 Yeah sure. 😒

Might be a silly question, but have to ask since the actual value of EY-Hult MBA seems so small...does EY provide the raise you would expect with getting an MBA if you complete that program? I would assume they have to, but that you wouldn’t get MBA pay if you moved to another firm afterwards?

How difficult is billing for dme as I only have experience in gyn onc and lactation billing? What's a fair salary? I have 8+ yoe in rcm, no certs.
