I still have pending interviews for an associate position in FDD/SAT, but should I accept the senior position if my ultimate goal is to get into FDD/SAT and nothing else pans out? Why is that you see people rise in the profession of teaching who prosper to Principals. Is it What they Know? or Who they Know? with a Masters and with Honors my district has never even considered my Principalship even though I completed all the requirements. I’ve been in the HVAC industry for 11 years with 10 of those in the field as a technician. As a technician I was considered very capable and was always considered one of the best where ever I worked. Currently have a hospice patient on physical therapy caseload for device recommendations to give her a better QOL in her final days. I go in to assess her and find she has a sacral ulcer. Nurse and I (the PT) agree that the patient would benefit from a ROHO cushion for her W/C. Hospice comes back and says they don’t cover cushions! This is beyond messed up. Bigger picture, this $170 cushion is probably cheaper than most items they’ve spent money on covering for her.

Dual role position for a sub-specialist. It’s a very busy role that includes surgery scheduling , prior auths for surgeries and tests, referrals, returning patient calls regarding their surgeries, and to add to it, reviewing the schedules for out 2 Mds, 2 PA’s, & NP. They want everything done quickly but with also close attention to details but with absolutely no overtime. Right now I make less than I feel appropriate but it’s also more than the other clerical jobs in our corporation.
