I did park. Never got 20/20 vision but helped me to get off the thick glasses. Side effect is extremely dry eyes
I had lasik in 2004 and still have better than 20/20. The dryness is real but it gets much better after time
Barely invasive enough to consider it a surgery. It was great not wearing glasses for 5 years but some of my astigmatism is coming back so I'll probably get a touch sometime this year. I still feel like the freedom from glasses was worth it. Shop around though because there are lots of discounts through health plans, eye plans and third party dealers. I might feel like it was worth it because I got a good deal for a reputable place.
I considered it for 3 years and spoke to different surgeons. Ended up doing it and had textbook recovery. The surgeon and tech explained every part of the procedure and it went great. My sister also got it done but has dry eyes now tho. It all depends on the individual.
I got lasik done this past summer and it has been awesome! My entire family (parents, aunts, uncles, parent’s cousins) has gotten it done and everyone has been satisfied. My mom was an early adopter and had Lasik done in 2002 (the FDA approved it in 1999) and said it was one of the best decisions she’s made.
I went from -6 nearsightedness and -2 astigmatism (-8 total prescription) to 20/20 the day after the procedure. I still have a little bit of halo vision at night and when there are bright lights, but it’s crazy being able to see so well right when I wake up, having worn glasses/contacts since I was 7.
I used Proanthenols, no surgery and got my 20/20 vision back after 14 years of wearing glasses.
