Is it worth it to pay for your own certification ?

I am currently working with EY GDS Business consulting division and total year of experience is 3 before this I was part of a start up for 6 months... Currently I am earning 10.5 LPA just want to know if I am fairly compensated. Also did MBA from a Tier 2 college.

Planning to move to Canada in a year through the Express Entry program. Currently working at Accenture Strategy in India (2 years work experience) with MBA from one of the top universities in the country. Not sure if I'll be able to get an internal transfer.
