Has anyone else been offered a raise, but had to get it approved by Omnicom? How long did it take before the raise took effect?

Yep, raises are approved by the agency and the parent company. Happens at IPG.

the fact that you were offered a raise in the first place means you are pretty far along

I've had it take 6 months. The good news is you should get backpay up to the original date it was supposed to take effect.

Took 8 months to be approver by omnicom. Also they just laid off a bunch of eg+ ppl so I'm sure they will cry poor

Put in your request for a promotion now. My review cycle was in August 2017 but pushed to January 2018 due to Omnicom freezes

@R/GA Yeah but I’ve been waiting almost 2 months - is it supposed to take that long?

It took me about a month and a half before my raise was granted, most of it was waiting on Omnicom.

It has typically been 2 to 3 months for me. But I’ve never gotten retroactive pay.
