This is not a reflection of your capability, it is a reflection of poor leadership from your firm. Hang in there and start applying! Would actually go as far as don’t even log in anymore and go on the “beach”, just purely focus on recruiting.
Second this, poor leadership

(Continued).. I’ve always been on a project and brought in business but it doesn’t seem like I’m getting that here. I’m not sure where to go from here or if they’ll even offer anything at the end of this but I left a stable role for this new opportunity only for them to not help get me on projects. I know I’m not lazy and have been doing a ton of internal work so I’m not sure why now 3 weeks away from the deadline I’m being told this.
Not sure if anyone else has been through this and if anyone has any advice.
Thanks in advance!
Yea, that is rough. Sorry to hear about it. I’d definitely look to move elsewhere and fast
Job hunt asap. You've basically been given 3 week notice of termination.
3 weeks isn't enough to find another job unless you were already looking, so maybe try to bargain with them to buy time, like asking if you can stay on the payroll at half pay for a while. This reduces their costs while keeping you employed (bette optics for recruiting, as they won't know the bench details), and reduces risk to them of selling work and having no available staff.
Thanks all. I’ve started the job hunt and I know that’ll take some time to get calls for interviews. It just feels and seems so unfair as I had a 3 month interview with them and took off time to make sure I took their calls. Only for this to happen.
This isn’t a big 4 firm right?
Nope, another firm.
