I had a great experience with them several years back. It just depends on the staff it seems
I just have high expectations
My building switched from Bozzuto to a different management company and it was the best thing to happen. They could not fix routine maintenance issues without rework and building amenities were always broken or not functioning correctly.
🙋🏼♀️🙋🏼♀️🙋🏼♀️Bozzuto management has been a consistent disappointment. The day to day of living there is fine, I love my apartment and the location, but every time I have to deal with management it’s an excruciating experience.
@CA1 have not seen any in past year I’ve been here 🤷🏻♂️
Currently live at the Apollo and the staff here are actually great! Could be a one off tho. The only thing that annoys me is their arguments for raising rent when there are a ton of other options now around the H street area
Yes I do a lot but I’m also 31 so I don’t go out as much anymore and prefer to host. H Street has enough bars and restaurants where I don’t need to go far. Previously I typically went out in Shaw or around U street
Can say my toll brothers building is amazing. Let me know if you’d like more info.
You got it dude!
Wife and I were going to move in to City Market at O when it was opening. Put down a down payment for a 1 bedroom with den when they were still a construction site using a trailer for a leasing office. Show up months later to do our first tour of our new place, and are (only then) notified they screwed up the floor plan and our unit was actually an ADA unit and all other units like the one we put a down payment on were taken. We were given 2 options: take the ADA unit with them waiving the Y1 amenity fee, or get back the deposit and find a new place. We took the later. Had to scramble for a new place, but it worked out and we were actually much happier with where we ended up.
I live in a Bozzuto managed building in Arlington and they suck. front office staff is really rude and constantly lies about when things will be repaired (e.g. garage door was broken for 4 months while office staff kept saying it'll be fixed very soon.)
I actually love Bozzuto--great staff and building events. If you don't mind living in Rosslyn I'd suggest giving Sedona | Slate a try.
I believe this is due to their operating model being similar to Marriott in that they only own a fraction of the properties and therefore inconsistency between the variousBegins to emerge
I’m actually suing them in 2 lawsuits. I lived at a DC building got assaulted by the former property manager and they raised my rent without a new lease and notice, the addendum in the original lease had no verbiage of an increase month to month. They are awful they gossip, go into residents apartments and snoop around get a camera and literally see for yourself. I am now perfectly happy with a new building and company. Avoid Bozzuto if you can!!!
Which building? I am about to move into a bozutto building and this terrifies me
I never hear good things about them. Arlington resident.
I suppose trying to manage multiple properties at scale is no simple feat but when customer service for some of my clients in other industries is handled with such care it really irritates me that they cannot handle it
