are you working longer than normal hours? could it be higher background stress levels? do you have any other stress symptoms - irritability, teeth grinding, tight muscles, changes in eating patterns (a lot more, a lot less), headaches?

hmmm, i know if i work late at night, it takes my brain at least 1-2 hrs to rev down again. wonder if that's happening to you as well.
I’ve started waking up just before dawn without an alarm clock. And I’m going to bed earlier.
I think my body is getting into a more natural sleep/wake cycle.

All of the above has been happening recently. This plus crazy chapped lips and stomach pain. Waiting for some doctor to discover it's post Covid symptoms.

I wonder if lack of vitamin D has anything to do

Wow. Never even thought about this one! I looked it up, and it said that people with dark skin are especially prone to not getting enough vitamin D. I’ve been going to the park but for the longest time I never left the house. This was really helpful! Thanks!
Same! I’m working on meditating more regularly before I plan on sleeping. I hoping that’ll help me get quality sleep
I’ve been waking up throughout the night lately
Yes 100%. It sucks and I don’t know how to stop it

Exercising and listening to sleepy tunes on Spotify help.

Lots of people having more vivid dreams and less restful sleep as a result of lack of stimulation during the day. You’re definitely doing some of the right things, and people have made good points about reducing stress. Are you exercising? I always sleep poorly when I’m not exercising regularly

Try exercising, it really really helps. Might be because you have surplus of energy due to lack of movement
Anxiety causes our hormones to secrete more adrenaline and if it kicks into high gear you can really deplete your system. I know because I’ve had a huge problem after working a high stress, fast pace life that did me in. One of the side effects is your adrenal glands/kidney/liver aren’t resting in the wee hours like they should be so you may wake up at 2 or 3am, that’s a sign that it’s hormonal.
Acupuncture and supplements for adrenal fatigue help me with this. Exercise to wear yourself out a bit during the day helps too.
