Has anyone even attempted to read the healthcare bill? I stopped at about three pages in.

I don't think the jackass Republican senators have either, so don't feel too bad about it

^yikes man, you're clearly super angry. Hope you're doing alright dude.

@Associate1 looking forward to dying on this hill, Jonathan Gruber, often called the architect of the ACA has said publicly the "stupidity of the American voter" allowed the Dems to pass Obamacare in a vote on Christmas Eve (the first since 1895) after the longest deliberation since 1917 when Congress decided to enter WWI. I'm always open to bipartisan points and want politics to stay honest and open but you're a mouth breathing Democratic mind slave if you're going to pretend like politics are a Republican game. The bill is public now and won't be voted on until next week, when you lose it's entirely the result of a free people deciding not to let the elites of both coasts make decisions for the little people in the middle. Fuck. You.

like

Yup. I read HR1628. All 132 pages.

like

"I'm always open to bipartisan points...politics to stay honest and open...Democratic mind slave...Fuck...You". Im getting mixed signals here

Even Dem senators didn't read that asinine 2,000page ACA bill. That bill: its contents, format, and the process by which it was introduced to the public and how it was voted on was entirely undemocratic. There were no substantive negotiations because dems knew ACA bill was poorly crafted and wouldn't stand under fire.

At least, This bill begins with a reasonable opening offer. Let the negotiations begin!

I’m just having second thoughts as exit opportunities aren’t as prevalent as I thought, the pay/benefits don’t match industry/risk of joint a startup, and I’m not getting the network of a Big4 or MBB

Hi all, I have a question regarding retirement accounts. I am not sure if I should choose a Roth or 401k (company has 4+2% match). Currently 23, base salary is ~100k and investments have brought 45k this year which has me teetering between a 22-24% tax bracket. Wondering what the usual tax bracket is of people retired (around 65yo) as I’m not sure anything would bring in significant income with the exception of investments. In my case would a Roth make sense? Appreciate any answers!!
