Has anyone ever been a victim to a team member’s jealousy? I have this person on my team who tears apart my work in front of all the creative directors. It makes me look bad.. I can’t help but take her comments personally. I can’t help but think there’s some jealousy- she has so much energy to rip someone apart. Everyone else complements my work but I’m afraid to mess up and have her call me out in front of the directors. I feel like the whole time I’m just playing defense. What do I do?

I was recently informed by a teacher's aid that another teacher in my school thinks that I 'Do Nothing' as an art teacher, and went so far as to spy on me outside my classroom to reinforce her opinion. Obviously she is wrong and completely ignorant of what happens in my art class every day. I am not the confrontational type, but I feel like I need to address this. Any advice?

I think I have pent up resentment for my peer junior team members. I clean up a looooot of their work and don’t mention it to senior people on the team. I try to provide feedback, but I don’t think it registers since we’re at the same level. Should I just start letting people fail?

Who has worked with company NDAs in the past? Not Client NDAs, but one that was put forth by the company you work for? To me, it gets real sticky with being able to show work in your book if you have signed an NDA.

Sometimes I am envious of other positions unrelated to design. Portfolios are tough, time consuming, and expensive! I’ve invested over half a k in the last two years fixing and redesigning my portfolio website, and that doesn’t include the time I put into it!

I wouldn’t change my profession in a heart beat but odd how it feels like we are the only group of professionals that has to invest money just to present our work.

I work for a large consultancy and 1. I don't have time for freelance or pet projects 2. Even if I did them, I could seriously be in trouble with my current company. Any program recommendations for building decks for clients? Indesign is obviously the best IMO, but I’ve found it difficult for clients who don’t have a design background and want to make changes in the future. I have been short-listed among 2 other applicants for a great UX/UI role.
The role is very UI focused, am a jr but the role is Mid weight, yet I still got through! Yay
But now I got an email from the interviewer asking for live links of apps and websites that are similar to theirs that I have designed before.. I am stuck... should I decline the interview? I don't have much links to send. And the ones I did were confidential and the ones that are not , are already on my website what should I do?
