Nope- funny story. I was complaining about it HARD at dinner in CT with my team and a guy from another table leans over and says- I work for Starwood. I was like- oh good - let me give you my negative feedback directly. He did nothing. I lit them up- letters, note to my old ambassadors etc. no go. There must not be enough business traveler women who take leave for them to give a crap. Sad.
No and when I came back from maternity leave after 5 years of platinum they wouldn't match my status either (for some reason Marriott never expires) ... I had to re-earn from scratch like a newb
Nope. Had to do a status challenge earlier this year.
That's what I thought. I have loyalty with every other hotel chain except for them. I am too high maintenance to go 18 nights without status!
Nope. Currently doing a challenge...I sure do miss the words "Thank you for being a Diamond Member"
That is so awful PwC1! As a female that really upsets me. You are seriously so kind to bring your business back to them!! I would have boycotted them lol. Also major props to you for being a lady boss and traveling with a little one. I admire people who can do that. I can't even have a boyfriend and travel lol.
Thanks OP. D1- it only took me about 2.5 months to re-earn it. I have lifetime Gold- but Gold is decidedly not platinum 😮. It was a good exercise in humility.
PwC1- are you kidding me? They sure don't value your loyalty!
Find someone who can gift you gold status? :)
D1- who has the ability to gift me gold? Is that only lifetime platinums?
