I interviewed for the position of Associate Human Capital Advisory role at KPMG. I cleared my first round but for the second round tgey gave me 2 case studies and one excel assessment to be completed in 2.5 hours. I think I messed up the case studies and just wrote the approach and recommendations but didn't include any other preferable portions. Is there a minimum cutoff for these assessments?

Yes. It didn’t come up or pose a problem for me.
Sameness. Feels like it never happened.
I was let go from my prior job because "they couldn't afford me anymore" ... i got hired that same week at the job I'm at now. That was 5+ years ago.
I was let go at a firm for not passing the bar, but my work product was otherwise not a problem. At my interview for the new firm that I’m working for now, they didn’t ask me at all about it. Granted I was let go during the pandemic so they probably made assumptions that it was pandemic-related to cut costs, but I’m thankful they didn’t care.
Yes knew it was coming and wanted to just quit but also wanted to be able to get unemployment while I find the next role
Already accepted another offer tho. It did not come up
Has not happened to me but my firm had hired two associates where it was the case (which we found out later). None of these were at the level at which they were hired (not saying this is necessarily your situation).
If your situation is performance-related I would advise to find out very quickly what the new firm expects and to work hard to make up any lack of knowledge or skill as soon as possible. If it comes up at a later stage you will have a track record of improvement.
