Not for nothing, I’ve seen a number of folks transition from tech/digital to more business / commercial consulting at Alix. :)

My impression is that there is a need for talent with digital background in Commercial practice if you are interested in internal transfer.

What level are you? At higher levels, the cost might be quite high as you would need to rebuikd everything

Maybe transfer to EI at Alix?

Amazon FLDP vs Gartner Consulting (post-MBA level). I am worried taking Amazon will close the door for consulting in the future. Amazon comp - 130k base + 80k sign-on bonus (~45k first year, ~35k second year) + 100k RSU (4 year vest). Gartner - 125k base + 15K EOY Bonus + 10k sign-on bonus. Do I pass on my hopes for consulting and chase the money?

Can somebody please explain to me why MBB and other top consulting firms are so adamant that you have an MBA? I majored in accounting, finance, and operations management at a top 10 undergrad business school and then got my masters in information systems from the grad school program. I took multiple MBA courses as electives when getting my masters and it seemed like those classes were very basic and easy. Idk if I would learn anything in an MBA program that I hadn’t already learned in undergrad
