Anyone else feel a little uneasy that the industry press is praising a CMO who fired the agency who resurrected KFC, ran one of the most brutal pitch processes in years and has immediately made the work much worse?

@OP, you definitely did not go overboard. Many crazy people out there these days. You have to protect yourself.
If you don’t feel safe, then you do not feel safe. If you cannot her out of your lease, you did the right engaging lawyers.
Trust your instincts. There is no reason your room-mate who I’m guessing is not brown should be repeatedly entering your room.
Having said that, I highly recommend filing a police report. Can you sub-let your room? You should explore that option too.
You have the same rights as everyone else in America.... a report is a report. Might not be the best course of action though
Unfortunately that’s my only course of action. Lawyers think my case would take 2 years to reach the court. And I need to get out of the lease ASAP due to bunch of stuff. Happy to hear other thoughts. If it helps I need to get out of lease in nyc because my roommate goes in my room when I’m not home. I’ve this captured in pictures and videos.
Have you tried talking to your roommate, OP? If you’re a person who likes privacy and wants to live alone (no judgment I’m one of those people too), I’d recommend moving to a more affordable city where you can rent your own apt.
What is your actual complaint? Is the roommate stealing stuff? Letting random people use your room? Seems very overboard to be engaging a lawyer over a roommate living issue.
D1 I’m not here to make a case to this community. I’m just seeking opinion from people who have been through this or gone to police. And believe me I’ve a long list of things that if wrote here everyone’s jaw would drop. My biggest concern is that I work in deals and if she’s fucking looking at my decks and stuff and investing - I can bring hell lot of pain for myself.
