Has anyone ever gotten an offer verbally and had to wait for an official offer from Before going forward. Along the lines of we are looking for a project?

There is so much drama within senior leadership on my project that it would make the offspring of a threesome with The Bachelorette, Grays Anatomy, and a soap opera look like a sitcom.

When you're killing yourself on the project but your SM plays favorites with the other consultant. Gonna have to revert back to not giving a fuck.

TX Big law if the long term plan is to not stay in Texas? Law student here with Texas big law offers (from V&E, Latham, KE, among a few others). I'm debating my offers with respect to marketability in house to a midwest market in 3-5 years (decently large city but no big law firms paying market). Do you think it matters at all which firm I choose? I suppose I can always lateral at year 2-3 as well. Intending to go into the M&A group.
