I work as an Information System Security Officer. I've been in this position for a few years now. I've been wanting to do something more technical lately (cloud computing/ethical hacking), but I'm not sure how to make the leap. The ISSO function entails a lot of paperwork, security enforcement, auditing, and reporting. I recognize the significance of the position, but to be honest, I find it tedious.
