McKinsey & Company Bain & Company Hello, I received an offer as a Senior Practice Manager at Bain. The profit sharing range is 0-12% in the offer letter. Is it typical to receive the midpoint (6%)? Also, what do the annual salary increases typically look like? Any insights are much appreciated. Bain & Company Boston Consulting Group McKinsey & Company

Leverage at current firm rarely, if ever, works. Take the advice and leave. You seem a bit hesitant, why?
Thanks everyone. Sounds like the overwhelming opinion is to leave, which I was leaning towards, but love the validation. Thanks all ❤️
You’re a Senior Consultant- Big 4 firms have 30k employees. The firm and practice will go on just fine without you.
Get paid, get your MBA, and reconsider your options in a few years. The culture and people of your current and new practices will be entirely different 5 years from now.
Don’t think current firm can ever match 45 percent pay increase
Yeah me neither :/ thanks for your advice!

Leave if the teams sounds good. Do the recon first
Gotcha. So you think leaving is the right choice regardless, so long as the team is good?
Pro
Leave
Awesome. Thanks for the advice. Had similar thinking, but nice to have it validated.
I’ve only ever seen one leverage at current firm work out well long term. I’d say leave
Yep complete unicorn if I’m honest I’ve seen clients say we’re not getting the extension/ new piece of work if he didn’t work on it. OP - leave I’d be super surprised if they matched 45% at junior level
Gtfo how is this a question
Yes
Unless your current firm could do like 60% (they aren’t gonna do that), then leave
Just GO; don’t overthink it not over complicate it.

Can I ask which big4 you is making the higher offer.

Also comp is changing from what to what.
Would you stay if they matched?
😂 thanks!
Which b4 firm is willing to sponsor your MBA? is it full sponsorship or partial?
PwC and Deloitte both do full. EYP does full iirc
