My first lead that came organically from my brand new firm site was for a huge amount of work my guess is 350 hours. It seemed like client was price shopping, I wanted the work so I low balled them and offered to do the work for $75 an hour. I think the fair rate would have been 100-150. I think I overshot it because right after I gave the quote I was ghosted.

Too many layoffs. The industry is just hurting too much. Time for client side. But tough to do as a Planner. Thanks for listening

How do I handle a situation where a supervisor questions comes off as she sees me as stupid and is belittling me? In the beginning of week, I was scheduled spilt between her client and another, and she felt I was responsible to tell her. We all have access to the schedule. When on this other client, she wanted to do call. I responded I was at a client, and she was upset and believed I should respond her questions concerning her job. How do other, particularly small, partnerships deal with write offs of client bills? First month as partner and former boss, now partner, had me cover something last minute. Client freaked. Partner said he would write it off and it would just come out of his cut. Now, he’s trying to say that client gets a “credit note” and there’s no money to divide for that matter.

Recently i have seen many associates are complaining about work pressure at Infosys. The working environment has gotten worse. People are working 18 hrs per day and even on weekends.
