Anyone ever heard of the firm Spire law?
Hey guys,
I am just little worried as I haven't received my Resignation Acceptance letter today inspite of the fact that my Automation clearance is 100%.
It is already 9 PM. I need it for tomorrow as I am joining a new firm and they have specifically asked for it. May I know when did you guys receive the same at what time!

It's that time of night, everyone starts dreaming about quitting...
Like 5 of you have posted this today bruh
It is waaaay easier to find a job when you have one. If you leave without having one lined up, you have less bargaining power and may appear less attractive to some employers. Food for thought, though there are many reasons why one might still make that choice.
Just had that conversation with my wife pleading that she doesn't quit her current job until she's got something lined up

I have never had that luxury. Take advantage if you can do it!!!!
Absolutely. I know quite a few people. You tell the company that you wanted to search for your next opportunity full time and the consulting lifestyle makes that difficult. Even if you quit to see the world most companies won't hold that against you if there is a gap. Being able to explain it is the important part.
There was a guy who runs CTO Advisor (use to run virtualizedgeek) blog who quit PwC without anything else lined up. He wrote pretty openly about it on LinkedIn and his blogs. Maybe worth a google search.
Stay in consulting until you find one. TBH the bs you do sounds so much better on the opposite side
Really? I guess I haven't scrolled down far enough.
I was about to ask the same question... following
@D1 is money the issue or is there another reason?
D1 - you sound like my husband, minus the begging. He just gives me a talk every time I bring it up. Lol
