Does anyone know if the same 401k rules apply at EY as Accenture so they will cap the contributions coming for your check say if you hit the yearly limits in August? So if you hit the 22,500 in 23 there is no way to go over for tax issues. Thinking to frontload next year contributions if market is down. EY

This whole question/thread is what's wrong with this world. TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF PEOPLE. Not to sound like a complete delusion in this industry but honestly....at the end of the day, you and your health and your joy in life are what we all should be living for and will remember. I promise you this.
I took a day last fall where I scheduled a bunch of appointments in advance (dentist, physical, etc) and charged the sick code. Idk what else would you charge? Taking a sick day isn't about a code, it's about an understanding with your manager.

What's the big deal here? If you're really sick and can't work, just take the damn sick leave. People understand. Please understand that your health comes first. The staffing and util BS don't really matter.

It doesn't hurt your utilization BUT it doesn't help your utilization. If you billed 8 chargeable hours that day, your utilization would be higher. Sick time and PTO are not included in the numerator when calculating utilization
Honestly even past all the utilization BS. Take the day off if you need it. If you were honest about being sick and needing the time then anyone who gives you trouble is cancer. Don't buy into those people because they will never help you advance... They just seem to use people
