What would be the correct salary for Salesforce dev with 8 yrs experience?

I plan on buying my first home in the next coming months. Is it better to put 10% down and buy out PMI or putting 20% down?

I don’t think I will have enough for 20% down in the coming months but will have enough for 10% down. I just want to build equity already and stop paying my friend rent for his mortgage. Furthermore, what loan do you recommend for first time buyer? FHA or conventional?

I’m currently a PM that works in university recruiting. More specifically, I manage our intern + new grad program. The current work I do focuses on operational work/building out processes. And not as hands on or interactive with the people in the program as I thought it would be. The company/team is also not the greatest, so I’m beginning to look for work elsewhere. I feel like it might happen this year in our building. I know many non-tenured teachers AND 20yr veteran teachers who are about to hang it up and call it quits. Culture in our building is the main cause.

I'm contemplating returning to school in the spring for my masters. I'm going to see how these next first few months go and if I feel confident that I can handle the extra work. For those who have done this, what was the most difficult part? Was it too overwhelming or did you find a balance?

I am looking for ideas on how to get my students to give back to the community in small ways. I teach 3-5 year olds in deaf ed. I want us as a class to give back in a way that is appropriate for them.

The only thing that would convince me to join a union was if I was deeply and strongly attacked in any way at work, and needed legal help bad. What about you?
