Hey fishes. Just got a mail from Deloitte that the lease for my Laptop has expired and I have to visit the nearest Deloitte office to replace it. My base location is in Gurgaon but my nearest office is in Kolkata and currently I am at my home. Can I get it replaced from Kolkata office? And what is the general time frame for replacement. Can I visit after an week or so?

My firm does not do any securities work, but we have a client who needs assistance with an SEC filing (Form D) so we are using a service company to assist with the filing. There are investors in two other states so we have to file the Form D in those states to comply with blue sky laws. Is it typical to use the service company for those state filings too? How long until you stop dreading leading management meetings? It’s been a few months of consistently doing it, and I’m always nervous leading up to it.

I’m a senior working in audit for 6 years now. Recently I felt stuck in audit where progression is slow and salary is lower compared to other service lines. I am considering to go to advisory, but not sure which strand of advisory service. Any recommendations? (Thinking of CCaSS). My main consideration is compensation (including bonus) and exit options. I can’t see myself in public practice forever!
