Has anyone ever worked or interviewed at valassis?

I’ve been trying to get into The Walt Disney Company for years and can’t seem to make any progress. I’ve tried introducing myself and connecting with recruiters on LinkedIn and of course, applying to jobs on their site. Would anyone happen to have any words of advice for someone trying to transition from the ad industry into the entertainment industry?

I’ve founded 2 agencies - one brand experience agency and one UX and innovation consultancy - both have been fairly successful in attracting big clients and profitable. But honestly, I’m not sure I want to do it anymore and considering closing shop and applying for jobs/consulting. I’m 39 and feel I have tons to give. Anyone here done that, or had these feelings?
When I have good projects and good client meetings the joy spikes momentarily and I get the buzz, but I can’t shake this itch.

I’ve had four interviews in the past week, and I’ve noticed that HMs and recruiters aren’t as serious as they should be: 1. They got up in the middle of the interview to answer the door. 2. Biting their nails throughout the entire interview while working on something else. 3. Mentioned that I need to be available 24/7 and can only offer a title less than I currently am because they don’t have a high budget. Is there anything that I can do stop this? Maybe consider another industry?

Has anyone use a resume writing service if so which one?... I have been job hunting for about a month, over 200 applications and only 2 interviews (maybe I will get any of the jobs and won't need the resume writing thing hahaha) but just in case, hahah...

Interviewed with a tech company and did the take home test. The interviewer said and I quote "you did phenomenal in testing, however, we decided to pause this position for the time being." That seems to be a trend. How do I identify these problems within the interview process and keep from wasting my time? It is frustrating, to say the least.

Interviewing at McK for a Knowledge Specialist role in the Analytics practice. Dont think I'd want to stay in the Knowledge/Specialist track more than a few years. Closing Question- First year here that is Closing a small deal on behalf of a Partner who is out of pocket through Wednesday. All signatures have been received, and Buyer wants to Close Monday, but Seller is also going to be out of pocket with just limited email access on Monday. In order to Close, is the only thing left needed from Seller just a confirmation email on Monday that they agree to release signatures?
