Need some advice! I put in my notice, and my boss told me to not tell my team yet and wait. It's now been a day and a half, I've sent a follow up, but nothing. I've been avoiding my team to not have to lie to their faces (they've expressed prior they don't like secrets around departures) and I can't go rogue without impacting a colleague who will need to take on my work. How would you all handle? It's currently unclear whether I will get to work my notice period due to the nature of my role.

How to deal when a colleague is repeatedly late in getting something to you that you need in order to do your job? For clarity, a peer of mine, head of a different Dept, needs to do a relatively simple task each month and, only after I send about a dozen emails, does he actually do it. I’m totally fed up. A junior associate at big law here. When you get emails from recruiters asking for a call to discuss new opportunities, do you respond declining or do you just not respond? What’s the norm? Do you respond to cold emails?
