Has anyone exited to yext? thoughts on exit?

Hi everyone, I’ve seen a ton of posts recommending bogleheads. Would you all be willing to attest to it personally and share what kind of growth you’ve seen by following the simple three fund philosophy (or bogle’s philosophy as a whole)?

Does it make sense for me to try to go from data science/analysis to investment banking? I'm moving away from the DC area to MN and have been looking at jobs over there but not sure how to set up my resume or if it's even feasible. No finance exp so maybe MBA first?

Those of you who left your firm recently due to mental health or being overworked—where did you go and are you happy now?

I’m looking at doing a side gig doing professional mentoring, interview preparation and resume design/building/editing for some supplemental income. I’ve been doing it informally for a couple years with folks in my network and to much success. Folks have recommended I branch out and start charging for the hours I spend on it. Interview went well, Total 7 ppl interviewed me. I accepted offer verbally. Then I got promoted and I shared that to recruiter and my current compensation and offer are same. I shared my difficulty to recruiter as it will be a lateral move. He said he will get back to me in 1 day. Its been a week I haven't heard back.

Considering from DC - primarily for family reasons, although my family isn’t in WA, but it’s the closest American city to them in western Canada. My girlfriend has been unemployed since July. She’s been interviewing with multiple companies and received a verbal offer for a job she doesn’t really want but pays well on Friday. They have not yet sent her anything formal, but want an answer today so she could potentially start next Monday. She also has a second (and likely final) interview with another company for a job she is really excited about on Tuesday. What’s the best path forward? Extension of job 1? Decline?

How difficult is it to go from bizops at FAANG to MBB without prior consulting experience?

I want to exit to MBB but if that’s not a possibility what are the next best consulting firms? Looking for at least midsize firms (non-boutiques).

I recently started a new role, accepted the job because of an awesome interview with the hiring manager who got me really excited about the opportunities at this new company. Been there a short time, and today I find out they are planning to layoff the entire group I’m with because of a restructuring in the next few weeks. I just can’t believe it, need to process the bait and switch.

How is the job market in tech / startups now for BizOps, Chief of Staff, Strategy & Ops roles? 3 YoE

Got the following offers on the table:

1. Big 4 - Manager, $180k + $20k sign on, told a good expectation is 12-15% bonus next year. 1.5% 401k match and 3% pension contribution. First year cash would be around $225k
2. New, well funded advisory arm of an established business - Engagement manager, $210k, 20-25% bonus. 2.5% 401k match. First year cash closer to $250k

Big 4 is a defined path with history, reputation, and exits. Other place is largely unknown but a lot of comp.
