Has anyone experienced USCIS just approving EAD and not I-485 (GC) though you are current in final action with your priority date. I don't understand the logic as EAD and Advance Parole are supposed to stop gaps while you wait for your priority date to be current. Has anyone faced this recently? If so, how long did it take for you to get your GC? This is the notorious Texas Service Center, by the way.
