Has anyone found it difficult to manage a relationship while constantly traveling for a project? I’ve been spending a lot of one on one time with a co worker which has got me questioning my emotions..

As a 17 year road warrior, I will say that being on the road requires commitment from both, and absolute dedication on your part to make your time at home worth it. Outsource everything that does not require your attention and spend the time creating memorable experiences with your SO. The premium (that you should be making) in this career is earned by your SO just as much as it is by you. Make it worth it. And when you find the one that can not only make it work but appreciates what you do for the unit, contributes in kind, and has the patience to take the good with the bad then lock it down!

It's really easy to develop feelings for others in the microcosms that our projects create. You do have to work hard at committing. Frankly, you should just admit to yourself that those feelings exist and can occur (as opposed to ignoring) and remember that it's normal but commit to not acting if you are monogamous with your SO.

A reminder to those who are stressed about your billable hours that your value is more than your pure productivity. To those stressed about relationships, relationships are hard even for non-lawyers, but you are absolutely worthy of love. It is an important reminder for all of us that you are worthy and you are valuable. Keep fighting!

Anyone else feel like family law is toxic and detrimental to the attorney’s health/quality of life? My client was served w/ an order of protection against her—her ex is abusive and is gearing up for a custody battle. Of course the OP was filled with outrageous lies. My home-office phone and cell were ringing from 9:00pm- 12 am after she was served…..I am in my first trimester of pregnancy with my 2nd kid and suddenly feel like I don’t want to/cannot handle this type of toxicity.…continued….

Hey Googlers, I’m going in for my GCP TAM second round on Monday and had a few QQs for you all:
1. For the RRK2 case study if there is a scenario for handling peak time workloads where the client did a lift & shift of a monolithic architecture, is the best suggestion to move them to micro services to enable serverless and auto scaling features?
2. I was told that they’ll give me 15 mins to prep after the case study is shared live, would you suggest I build a 1 pager or is that not required?Google

⚠️Toxicity Alert ⚠️

My previous manager would track us by hours daily, made a fuss everytime anything stretched and guilt us for that and the unplanned leave too unless it was COVID. Hinted him a lot of time, this is problematic but apparently he considered it "standard practice for agile".

Now 8/10 teammates have switched within < 1 year of project start (6-7 months with him) which tbh had good work in our opinion and even team was fun to work with even though none of us ever met in person.

Trying to switch my role currently working as
Senior Application Support + Project Management
with 3 years experience, and wanted to switch to
cloud security, current total comp is about 90k,
should I look for senior roles or entry level roles
what comp range should l target ?

Well, I’m out of advertising. After getting laid off on April 30th I held out in hopes I’d find something “cool” and be able to continue dressing like a clown for work (I’m heavily tattooed and have my septum pierced). I took a job as an EA in real estate investment banking and while I do feel relieved to not have to keep up the “cool” agency culture, I’m a little nervous to return to buttoned up corporate America. I know I’m good at my job, but unemployment Swiss cheese brain is real!

Testing TV files for Extreme Reach

Is there a website or portal you can use to test TV files before submitting? I have a client who handles their own traffic, so anytime Extreme Reach rejects or even questions something that is not a problem, it gets kicked back and a bunch of clients get CC'd on an email saying: "this failed QA."

At every other agency I've worked on, we would be able to handle any kickback or tweaks internally with zero client involvement. I'd love a way to test files.

I'm 11kg overweight for my height with a BMI of around 28.5. I'm hiking, walking up various peaks and ensuring that I get my heart racing the past 3 days. In some muddy/slippery places, I put weight on my left leg to prevent a 60 ft drop, knee took a lot of impact. Pity that attempting to be more active also leads to injury.

What do you recommend, a diet using the calorie deficit method? Looking to go back to gym, hit the heavy bag & lift weights from Monday.

I know I am extremely blessed and thankful to god that my parents are kind and allow me this but just want advice please.
