Has anyone frozen their eggs with Extend Fertility in NY and have had difficulty transferring them to another clinic? (Curious to know if places like Cornell and Columbia accept outside eggs). Thanks!

I’m a CA w/ 1 YOE and I got registered about 5-6 months ago. I was told prior to being registered that I would get a % of production on top of my base salary. That has not happened yet/slash been discussed. I am on day 9 of my egg freezing journey and absolutely feeling all associated emotions. I am almost 35, still single, and at the height of my big law career. While I’m grateful and blessed to be in this journey, I’m feeling so much emotionally and physically. Any coping tips? My stomach feels so heavy (doc saw 36 eggs on Monday - though of course all aren’t and won’t mature). Doc also told me to refrain from heating pads which have been my best friend through all this 😭 would 💕 any/all insight!

Does a great doctor and lots of physician interaction matter that much for egg freezing? I know it matters for IVF but curious if that weighs as heavily for the egg freezing process as well. Any tips on faster recovery after egg retrieval? Had egg retrieval today and am sore all over my pelvic area. I was riding subway on my way back from the hospital and for a min I started to sweat, feeling week and thought I’d faint. I regretted not taking a cab:) But overall I’m not in pain just feeling sore, especially when I move. Were you able to go back to work the next day?

Low quality eggs - had my ER couple days ago and had less that 50% fert rate. Doctor said my eggs were of low quality, dark, with vacuoles, and thickened membrane. I am 40 with 35 day+ periods. We did the basic antagonist protocol and got 20 eggs. Taking coq10, myoinositol, fish oil, metformin. Anyone experience this but go on to have success? What worked? Thanks!

Well I went for my follow up visit with my doctor today. This visit was to discuss why after stopping birth control ive not had a natural period. I was prescribed provera and had tests done everything came back normal aside from my progesterone being low and non ovulatory. I was then prescribed clomid to take on days 5-9 on my next cycle that never happened. So today I go in and I’m told that she’s referring me to IVF

So far I’ve been through 1 IVF cycle. I have one embryo that is frozen waiting for transfer. My doctor is wanting me to do another round of IVF to back eggs for baby number two down the road. Has anyone been through this? I know of two people around my age that got pregnant naturally with their second baby after IVF. Does anyone know about banking embryos for future use instead of transferring? My insurance doesn’t cover anything so all this of out of pocket.
