Cooley sounds like a good firm? Standing up to Elon Musk when he wanted a associate fired
Hi guys! So I am applying for an internship and for the second part of the process I got asked this question “Scenario: It has come to your attention that two developers are not seeing eye to eye on a project and the development process has stalled. What are some things you could do to help aid in the resolution and continuation of the project? And how you you avoid it in the future?” I think its all about communication. What do you all think?
Does anyone else find that they get way more nervous for zoom client meetings than they ever did for in person meetings? And how do you combat this? I just got feedback from the lead on my project that I didn’t seem confident when presenting my work in a client meeting last week. I have never gotten this kind of feedback before, I am normally good at presenting work. But I find I get more nervous for client meetings over zoom than when they were in person or even over zoom in the office.
Hi! I’m majoring in IT & don’t know what I want to go into once I graduate. I’ve been set on getting an internship but it looks like I’m too late to land one for summer 2022 so I’m going to prepare for summer 2023. I’m anxious because I have no experience being 20 years old. I have 4-5 years of customer service experience but so does every student. What internships are more accepting of beginners? Project management, technical account Manager, Systems engineer maybe? Still learning the field.
Any advice on what skills are needed to make your resume standout for a conflicts or legal analyst role? I was a practice assistant/legal secretary for 2.5 years and worked a lot with opening new client accounts and consequentially conflicts.
A client has a very-difficult-to-pronounce name which is a tongue twister for me. Don’t intend to butcher the name, but just can’t say it right. Personally, if someone from another culture said my name a bit differently, I just wouldn’t mind. This client is touchy about it. How do you handle this?
I am starting a new role with a new company and will have 6 direct reports. Although I have managed teams before in a consulting project setting, this will be the first time in industry. Any recommendations on how to sharpen my management skills (books, blogs, etc). Particularly looking at how to delegate effectively and practical examples on how to run day to day.
Hi I don't like the newly joined project so i put papers. Since My Tl and manager targeting me for putting paper and being so rude on asking the status of assigned task. Still I'm doing the task but they need more efforts. Please guide how to handle the situation.
Can anyone please provide info regarding which healthcare(a pharmaceutical company) infra project is there in gg v cyber city location?
Will I ruin my career if I let my boss know that my coworker in a group project hasn't been doing his assigned work? Just started this new job and the cowork started a few months before me. We split the work early on and I finished my part days ago. The project is due very soon. When I check its progress today I was shocked to find no progress has been made. With the deadline approaching, the only way to meet it is I work on the whole thing now. In this case, should I let my boss know?
Hello fishes I'm yet o serve 1month of notice period I need some break from this hectic project. Any ideas to get early release Or moving to bench without complications.
The chairman of my firm and head of my small department reached out to me kindly asking if I’d have time this morning to review a client deliverable he’d like to send out … and misspelled my name … again. Makes me feel a bit invisible. I appreciate that he valued my prior feedback and came back for another round but can’t get my name right? Crazy for feeling annoyed?

You ever feel like you're just failing to excel in consulting? Today and yesterday have been really hard to tap into any discipline to push past whatever brain fog/lack of motivation is preventing me from making progress on this project. I don't know if I'm just tapped out or not cut out for this type of intensity, but I'm 1.5 yrs into consulting after working in industry and this seems to happen too often. I just don't feel like I'm as good as my peers and don't know that I can get there.
This is an honest question. I may be naive/over-simplifying. But if you’ve worked your way up the big agency ladder - have the titles, awards, big client resume, would it be lucrative to start your own small agency in a small market? I have to imagine you could specialize in local businesses (breweries, restaurants, etc) at affordable prices and do well with a small crew.

Just rolled onto my 3rd busy season audit. This manager lives to work: works 8am - 11pm, and works Sat&Sun. It's an out of town client (cont.)
I’m currently interviewing for a community operations specialist role at Stripe. I’ve done the phone screen, written project, peer zoom interview, and now I’ve advanced to a interview panel that’ll last 3.5 hours. Can anyone give me some insight on what to expect? I’m trying to prepare the best I can.
Just accepted an offer with JP Morgan. Starting soon, any benefits I should be aware of?

Need some advice: Boss and Partner came into town for two days last week. Most people got drunk, I did not, as I had 3 drinks over the 5 hours we were at dinner and then at the cigar bar. Partner just kept saying he missed his family and couldn't wait to get home. Pretty great to see. My Boss, (Senior Manager) made an inappropriate comment which I acted like I didn't hear and then I quickly left after that (I am quite aware I should have firmly put up my boundary right then and there) Next...
Took LOA last year, multiple months. Recovered from burnout driven by long hours during covid. But feel like I'm now experiencing burnout in a different form. Don't feel drained but I'm just unmotivated to do anything in life and work. I don't want to eat, exercise, go places, or work. I don't want another break from work, I want to keep doing things (eg not so drained I want to take months off) but this seems like burnout and I don't know what to do.
Hi!! Any tips/stories on actively interviewing while ✨pregnant pregnant✨. (27 weeks) All potential positions are fully remote, and they are all Mkting Manager/Senior Mkting Manager roles. I have three 2nd interviews coming up, and I am struggling with when to disclose! Two of the companies seem very mom-inclusive so far, so part of me wants to be upfront/honest to build a positive rapport as well as potentially negotiate maternity leave that I would otherwise not qualify for this far along!
I’m not an IT or technology analyst but I received an offer to work in a similar role at a prestigious PE fund. The compensation will be around 120k (I make roughly 75k now) - should I take the offer?
Hey guys, looking to make the switch from working in marketing analytics at a marketing agency to working at a consulting firm. Both client-focused roles but how would it be different? Engagement is appreciated so I can DM some of y'all :)
