Has anyone had a great interview the interviewer days they think you’d be a great fit. They reply to your thank you email saying they’ll follow up to schedule a second interview then crickets. So strange. Asking because I saw the job reposted and I’m confused.

BUT .. I’ve applied to a few companies and getting no responses. Is it a deterrent for hiring managers/recruiters that my experience is based primarily at one company?

Why Interviewer want to insult candidate rather respect them ? Why 99% interviewer ask candidate about Pluto. I mean ask something which has no relation with application, project. Why this mind set ?? Why thr is a ego fight. If I know everything why I will join your company. We are not Architect !! Only those 6 companies have Interview pattern. I recently interviewed for a great company and they are offer me a base + commission salary of which the base salary is much lower (15k less) than what I was making in previous role and is also below the industry rate. They say the commission will make up for my expectations. Now I am in a bit in bind because this is great company and will give me good exposure for future opportunities but I also want to negotiate the salary. How can I approach this?

Has anyone interviewed for Oakley as a quality engineer?

I have my 3rd out of 4 interviews today for an internal transfer. This position wouldn’t be a promotion but rather a lateral move. 4 interviews? That’s more than an outside hire, the whole reason I’m being considered is my unique value I’ll be bringing to that department.

P.s my final interview is with my current manager who is NOT in charge of the new department… he also told me he didn’t think I was ready for the change when I initially told him I was making a move. Let’s see how it goes!

Do you ask startups about their diversity efforts?

I usually do when the company is larger than 70ish people or older than a few years, but when it’s tiny like a seed startup, I know diversity can be a lower priority and there usually isn’t a recruiter/peoples/hr person in place yet. Thoughts?

Need some advice as I already have an offer from EY but my other interviews are not over yet. I have ongoing interviews with Microsoft, Twilio and Revolut. They are trying to fasten up the process but I believe it might take another 7-10 days time.

Follow up etiquette advice needed (public relations industry) : hey everyone- needed some advice on if it’s appropriate to leverage offers and everything within the PR digital industry. I've had some rocky relationships with PMs.
As a PM, what would you like an engineer to ask you?
As an engineer, what would you ask a PM to understand how the work with engineers, what they prioritize, if they throw engineers under the bus, etc?
I've also had many experiences with great PMs.
