Has anyone had any experience with online platforms prescribing ADHD medications? I’ve seen ads for Done and wanted others input. I was diagnosed 21 years ago and have been treated by doctors every month since, so I don’t need an initial diagnosis. But my health insurance changed and my doctor is no longer covered. I can’t get in to a new doctor without a long wait, nor do I have time to take off work for the appointment, which is why I was leaning towards a virtual appointment. Thanks!

I did for a bit with cerebral when they were still able to prescribe adhd meds. It was easy enough. My state has a database of controlled substance prescriptions so the dr was able to look up my previous dose and go from there.

I tried it and had better luck going to my primary care. In this situation though it sounds like it may be your only option. I think it is def worth giving it a try while you wait for an appt somewhere else.

My OB is suggesting NIPS, but I’m not sure I see the value.

Hi there, I had a question about 401k or Roth IRA. Should I put money into anyone of the two as an international student? I don’t see the point because I want to invest my money instead of saving it. Plus I don’t even have a permanent resident status so I don’t know if it makes sense saving it for retirement. On the other hand, the employer match and so on sounds good. So should I save it and take it out later or just invest it?

Tips for 6-month eval? Originally hired at 35K as assistant and was told if I performed well, I could expect to make 50K after a year. Thinking about asking for 46K, new cellphone and official title change. I'm expecting some negotiating, which I've never done. 24F, AA Bus Admin, and overall good employee

Looking for actionable tips to improve efficiency. I’m a senior associate doing primarily employment litigation. I get great reviews on my work product, including my writing, but lately I’ve been getting feedback that I’m spending too long on tasks and partners are having to write off too much time (not good for partnership prospects). In particular, writing briefs, emails, and letters takes me forever, probably because it takes me a long time to form the right sentences. [Cont’d below]

Does anyone have any tips for staying focused enough to bill consistently every day? It seems that I’m only able to bill the requisite 8-10 hours daily when I’m overwhelmed, not when I have a decent amount of work to do but no pressing deadlines. I just saw an ad for an app called inflow that’s supposed to help manage adhd and create strategies to address things like putting off and staying on task. It’s $22 a month which is cheaper than a coach but more expensive than a planner. Odds that it will actually help vs. being another recurring charge that I keep putting off canceling because of my executive dysfunction?

Another billing question, this one for the litigators: what are your go-to narratives for all of the time that gets sucked up by dealing with emails on super active cases? I’m newly assigned to a matter that actually requires task billing instead of block billing AND that has tons of email traffic that I have to read—but not necessarily act on—to stay on top of the case.

I am a woman with pretty severe ADHD. I’ve taken medicine pretty much every day since I was diagnosed as a child. Currently I take Vyvanse with 10 mg Adderall. Even with the medicine, I sometimes I feel like I’m barely a functioning adult. My SO and I maybe want kids but I’m terrified of 1) do I have to stop medicine while pregnant and breast feeding, 2) could I even do my job without medicine, and 3) could I really take care of a baby?!? I’d love to hear other’s experiences or thoughts! Thanks!
