I have two kids and expecting my third - a 10 year old and a 5 year old. We live in NJ and work in NYC. We currently dont have a 529 plan for our kids; also not sure whether 529 is a good option for college education savings considering NJ doesn’t get a deduction for it; what other options are out there for college savings funds. How does the tax thing work on the ADP portal? I declared my tax submissions for PPF, HRA and life insurance. But still the tax of around 5k got deducted from this month's salary. If I didn't declare then more tax would have deducted or the declaration wasn't considered? Can someone please guide on this and tell the proper ways of saving the tax deduction? It would be really helpful!

Went to Costa Rica for vacation, which does not require a vaccine card. I am vaccinated, but I left my card back in the USA. It looks like the USA wants to see my vaccine card when I enter the country. I am a US Citizen. This was def my mistake, although it was confusing given the country I visited had no requirements for vaccine cards etc. I do have a photo of my card on my phone.
