Has anyone had better or worse luck using skills-based resumes or abbreviating work history? Currently applying for at least two jobs for every bad day I have (my own form of decompressing) and not getting many bites.

Have a case study interview coming up for a UK MM PE fund that will require a basic valuation: what valuation method should I use? Context is I will have 2 hours to prepare slides on investment thesis, including valuation (assume will get basic financial info from which I can get levered/unlevered cash flows). If I do a DCF model and estimate the value this way, my questions are: What discount rate should I use? (WACC?) Don't I need to know the EBITDA multiple to calculate terminal value?

Well - prepared for 2 weeks for a strategy onsite - with 80% of my time on behavioral and my story, product research. Both interviews turned out to be 100% case & math driven. Back to back (literally not even 10 seconds to break) and I got crushed. Feel like such an idiot.

I‘ve been at my company since quarantine started and have been using my personal cell phone to make work calls and conduct phone interviews. I noticed my cell/AT&T bill has gone up. In my past jobs I’ve had a work cell l so never had to worry about this. Should I bring this up with my boss or HR regarding getting a possible cell phone stipend? Of course most of our corporate team also use their cell phones but since I recruit and interview people all day, I’m using my cell a lot.
