Has anyone had experience managing someone significantly older then you? I’m struggling to provide feedback and with being able to communicate in a way where she isn’t personally offended. Advice?

Dumb question here so please be patient. I’ve always paid my credit card bills on time so not familiar with how interest is assessed. I had a bill of $853.23 and accidentally paid only $853 for that statement period. Just got my new statement and there was $0.39 interest on a “balance subject to interest rate” of $25.34—how can the interest be greater than my open balance at $0.23? Also not sure where the $25.34 came into the picture. Is interest assessed on the entire statement balance?

Weird scenario - gave my 2 week notice at a previous firm in March 4 and left 18th. During that time bonus numbers came out and during my exit interview HR did state that “im not eligible for bonus”. Fast forward to today - bonus hit my account and checked my paystub on ADP which clearly stated “annual performance bonus”

Edward Jones advisor with 30 million AUM and roughly 250k gross production. Been there for almost 4 years. Got an offer at Merrill Lynch to take over a 100 million dollar retirement transition plan in 5 years, or to join a 5 person Merrill Lynch team that manages a lot.

Pros to EJ: Have my own office, a year or two away from partnership, great office setting and client satisfaction.

Pros to Merrill: Bump in compensation, additional tools and services w banking, ability to take over assets.
