I’m in a small legal team - not at a law firm. I do the same work as my (male) colleague who has a senior title (I do not). We both report directly to the same principal (I don’t report into my colleague). When work comes in, my colleague and I just figure out who has capacity and then do it accordingly.

The only difference is that my colleague is +2/3 PQE. Am I being unreasonable to think we (cont’d)

I need advice. I am a marketing and psych graduate, loved with a passion every second of my career, I know there are a lot of open doors in the future. But trying to look for a job that has marketing or digital marketing is hard. Everyone thrives on experience but no one wants to take a newbie on the field. How do you start? How do I even look for digital marketing jobs? I also own a blog that has been a little dormant but I put it on my resume anyway.

California litigators: we all know that “relevant” discovery standards are really lenient in state court here. How do you handle it when opp counsel is really overreaching, but your primary objection is relevance? We don’t want to fight an expensive, losing discovery fight, and we’ve had to appeal discovery decisions by this particular judge in other cases for this client (and won those appeals). But I’m honestly floored by how much of a reach some of the requests we just received are.

I work for a top 15 firm & CPA but did go to a non-target. It's a really small commuter college.

I haven't felt like its impacted me but I can tell you there are very few grads from my college that work at top ten firms. Some firms don't have a single grad from my college based on searching linkedin.

I use Flo, last possible ovulation we did our thing pretty much daily. I’m currently 3 days late. I’ve taken 4 tests and all were negative. I’m recently getting over covid too. 35 years old going to be 36. Started ttc recently and tracking my ovulation. I noticed my test shows high fertile for 7-8 days straight without any peak in that month. It happened twice in last 6 months. My periods are fairly regular with 26-30 days cycles. my obgyn doesn’t seem to mind it but she suggested to go see a fertility specialist if I want to conceive sooner and don’t want to go traditional way. I am really stressed about it. Am I late for conceive?
