Has anyone had the experience where they travelled home for the weeks around Christmas but wound up having tension with family because you had to stay logged on all the time and couldn’t spend much time with them?

My husband wants to start having kids and has been pushing for it for a couple years now, but I take care of our finances, and I don’t feel at all prepared.
