Hi All, I am Java developer having 7 yoe. Recently I gave interview for this Landmark group
Is Landmark Group or @Landmark digital a product based company?
How good is job security? How good is work life balance?
I am looking for permanent opportunity where I can stay for longer duration. Is this the right company?
How are hikes in this company?
Yes. But it isn't you! You were sold a dream and you reacted to the excitement of that. You're not a different person just the same one experiencing different emotions.
Absolutely! I was thinking maybe it's because I just adapt to the vibes wherever. I don't think I can sustain the same hyperaware energy I used during the interview into the workplace.
I haven't noticed but if the vibes weren't as I expected then I don't think I would be happy about it, I'll just try to survive the workday.
Nah, I do my best to show up as my authentic self so folks don't get the wrong idea of me. I also need thecompany to be a good culture fit for me
What questions do you ask about their culture? How do you know if it's a fit? I struggle with this bc in interviews, they make it sound so nice, but then when a part of the team, it's the opposite. Maybe just badluck
Yeah, it has happened to me a couple of times. Once they sell you the work environment, it's like all the positives go away at that exact moment you sign your contract.
🥴🥲 are you in a better place now? What kind of questions do you ask to make sure they're not putting up a front before signing the offer? Or that they're not just trying to fill the role ASAP for the sake of ASAP
& then you feel like a fraud or you spiral down thinking there's something wrong with you
