Which hormone/s? I think your first step is getting hormones in balance. Different hormones cause weight gain different ways.
I personally have hormonal imbalances that give me insulin resistance, so I can’t eat a lot of carbs otherwise I’ll literally turn into a balloon.
Also weight loss is essentially using more calories than you’re consuming. I’d recommend some sort of physical activity (even if it’s just a 20 minute walk around the block) plus very very strict calorie counting and macro tracking.
I have high cortisol, and it peaks later than it should, which affects my focus at work. I am either very productive in the early morning or late afternoon, not very productive in the hours between. Because of high cortisol, I also have inflammation issues. I went on an anti-inflammatory diet but didn’t really lose weight. I felt better overall, but weight stayed the same.
I need to implement some regular exercise and watch what I eat. Thank you for the advice!
Yes, i have pcos and lost 68 lbs in the course of 4.5 years. The key things that drove my weightloss are cutting processed sugar out to once a week, cutting bread to once a week and if i do must be gluten free ( gluten triggers pcos symptoms). Light activity like walks, biking more often. What you eat is SO important... cut out the process foods.

I have pcos as well. I try to have all my macros at 30-40%. It works. And so does weight watchers.
