Does LTI provide reimbursement for WFH setup ?
Hello, I have received an offer from Southwest Airlines as a Associate Technology Analyst with their direct college hire program. Will be graduating in May with a degree in MIS and also have internships experience as a Business Systems analyst intern. The salary compensation started off at 66,500 but was looking for the 75k range and they got back to me saying the best they can do is 68,500. They also have a 401k company match up to 9.3%. Do you think this is a solid offer for this job market?

🥺Want some suggestion for busy season!
If you are starting as an Audit Associate some time from now with Deloitte or any of the big 4, do they expect you to have passed/completed all 4 parts by the time you start? Received the Becker Reimbursement email from the recruiter not too long ago but have yet to start. I’ve seen plenty of people get to Senior at a big 4 firm without the CPA so I am a bit confused in that aspect. Any helpful feedback will be very much appreciated.

I don’t know anyone who works here but everything I’ve read tells me to stay away. Heard there’s mandatory quarterly Saturday meetings where they preach their politics and religion. Personally, I would hate that culture.
Sounds like what I'm assuming most Big 4 do in ongoing company webcasts
I heard they pay a ton.
Similar to big 4, everyone’s experience is dependent upon what clients they are assigned to and their team. You can opt to travel or not travel (you are paid an additional % of your salary depending on how often you travel, in addition to a per diem for meals). Attending the quarterly Saturday events is not mandatory but those who do attend receive an $8k bonus for the year and one of the Saturday events is firm wide and held in Vegas.
No not religious at all..the CEO is just very conservative politically and let’s his employees know it.
Lol - I was about to post the same thing!
Pro
I have a friend that works there and really likes it. Was hard to believe from all the bad things I’ve heard from others.
I heard nothing but that’s quality information itself.

I’d also recommend Glassdoor. They are rated 3.4 by employees vs PwC, Deloitte and KPMG 3.9 and EY 3.8. The comments are a bit interesting.
They do a lot of loan staffing to big 4 during busy season so be prepared for that
I’ve heard and seen first hand pretty varied experiences. Friend from high school was there for a bit and had positive things to say. I also worked with a few of their people on an audit (big 4 was understaffed and brought them in as contractors for a never ending busy season client) - they seemed pretty miserable. Stuck with terrible areas of work, not really “a part of the team”, traveling 6 days a week to be on the job, etc. everyone that was on that engagement quit shortly afterwards
