As there are no HR roles my rural area, I'm in a role at a healthcare nonprofit that has some HR elements but is not true HR. I am being asked to consider a ​lead role in quality with even less HR duties. I have 3 yrs. true HR experience and hope to relocate back to the states from Canada in 2-5 years to an area that I know will have more HR opportunities. I'm afraid I won't be marketable if I take this new role. So far apps to fully remote roles have been unsuccessful. Thoughts are appreciated.

Hi all! Currently interviewing for a Senior Associate I position at a big 4 in the New York area. What do you all think my salary expectations should be ?

Had a lateral interview that seemed to go well, with an invite for a second interview just 4 days later. Said they'd be in touch. After one week I followed up writing sample. They thanked me and said they'd be in touch "next week" (which was this last week). Never heard back. Any advice on what to do next? So…..my director has been in the position for a little over a year. We’ve been working our tails off and last quarter were informed of no bonuses. I understand that business is down and need to save money. The straw for us was a company holiday party. They completely forgot to have one and now taking us to a bar for drinks and appetizers. Someone asked if that includes a dinner and they said no. The optics is just so bad. Any advice? Really rethinking my current situation and need to reevaluate.

There are many reasons why the current atmosphere for clinicians is a total shit show. What irks me the most is when companies say they treat everyone like “family” but do things like micromanage you or treat you like crap. Currently work for Legacy as a DPT and when my contract is up in a couple of months I’m out of there! Stay away from this company.
